Pediatric dental disease is the #1 chronic childhood disease in America, impacting millions of children and their ability to eat, sleep, play, and learn. In response to this health crisis, America’s ToothFairy was founded in 2006 as a collaborative effort of clinicians, academicians, corporate leaders, and community stakeholders. Dedicated to eliminating children’s preventable suffering from dental disease, America’s ToothFairy provides programs and comprehensive resources to deliver community-based critical preventive, educational, and treatment services to the most vulnerable children.

Who is !

?

Your support enables America’s ToothFairy to serve as an educator about the importance of oral health, a preventer of dental disease, and a protector of children. Funds raised for America’s ToothFairy go directly to providing: ★ Oral health screenings and treatment for at-

risk children across the country ★ Xylitol, fluoride, and sealant products to

prevent tooth decay ★ Vital oral health education for children and

families

A ToothFairy Dance-a-Thon or ToothFairy Ball is a great way to have fun and make a difference in children’s lives. For dance marathon, attendees commit to dancing for a certain amount of time and ask for sponsorships from family and friends. It usually lasts for 12-24 hours. A regular dance could raise money as well, and all you have to do is sell tickets. !Think about how you will generate interest for the event! How about bright colors, glitter, wings, sparkles, and great music! Attendees can decorate and wear their own wings; you could award a prize for the best ones! !Halloween is a great time for a dance, but Spring gives you time to plan. Winter suits silver glitter and sparkles for a ToothFairy Winter Ball--if you want to make it more formal, have attendees wear party dresses and suits/tuxedos with their ToothFairy wings!
