ASSOCIATED WORK

Early in 1931 it became necessary for the Methodist Episcopal Mis~ion to close their work in Tinnevelly District. At a conference of representatives of the Methodist Mission, the Tinnevelly Dio

cesan Council and the Madura Church Council of the S.LU.C., and with the subsequent approval of these three bodies, it was arranged that the Madura Church Council fr<;>m April 1st 1931 should take over

this work until other arrangements acceptable to all concerned can be made. The work is financially separate from the Madura Church Council work, and the statistics are separately reported below .
