Students from around the world that are 18 years and older can study English at our intensive English program located in southern California, less than a one-hour drive from Los Angeles. The classes are held at California State University, Fullerton, a beautiful and safe campus with an average temperature of 21°C. Our talented, caring and skilled instructors are trained, professional English language teachers. Come and enjoy the sunny beaches and meet the friendly people of California while learning English on our university campus and in our community!

Conditional Admission is a program that allows academically quali� ed students to be accepted to the university after studying at our American Language Program and meeting California State University, Fullerton’s English language requirements through TOEFL or IELTS tests. Students do not need TOEFL or IELTS test scores before applying and can be noti� ed of admission to the university before arriving in the U.S. Candidates for Conditional Admission need:
• An above-average academic standing from high-school or university.• To be enrolled in the American Language Program for at least one
semester (16 weeks) or summer (8 weeks).• Qualifying TOEFL/IELTS scores before entering the university for
degree study.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Conditional Admission
For admission to the American Language Program and California State University, Fullerton:
• Download and complete the Conditional Admission application from:Internationaladmissions.fullerton.edu. Print and sign the application and keep a copy for your records.
• Pay the $180 USD, non-refundable ALP / Conditional Admission application fee by credit card, check or money order made payable to “CSUF”.
• Send an original bank letter on bank stationery, bank statement or letter from your sponsor or scholarship organization on their stationary dated within the last 6 months showing a minimum balance of $34,313 (for undergraduate) or $37,919 (for graduate). For the Accelerated M.S. in Software Engineering, please show a minimum balance of $39,203.
• Send a photocopy of the inside passport page (with your photo and personal information).
• Send of� cial transcripts or certi� ed copy. A certi� ed English translation of transcripts and diplomas are required. All documents become the property of California State University, Fullerton.
• Undergraduates only: If you are applying as a � rst year student/freshman AND it has been six months or more since you graduated from high school, please send an Explanation After High School letter.
• Graduate Students only: Review speci� c departmental requirements as noted at: internationaladmissions.fullerton.edu/conditional-admission

An F-1 Visa is required to attend the American Language Program (ALP) and California State University, Fullerton. Please submit the following materials for admission and to receive an I-20 document to obtain your visa.
Intensive English Program For admission to the American Language Program (ALP) only:
