Our Saviour LutheranChurch Service

We now have a Protestant Churchservice every Tuesday afternoon at 2:00o’clock in the afternoon. Pastor Purduehas let me know that it is apredominantly Lutheran service but allare welcome to his services. Thefellowship meets in our second floorsolarium.

Movin’ And Groovin’For a while now, Brooke Munson has

come out for Movin’ and Groovin’exercise on the second Friday of everymonth. We have now rearranged herscheduled dates to the third Monday ofevery month. Keep an eye out for hername in our monthly calendar!

MJR MovietimesSince our Life Enrichment Director,

Shelby, has officially received her CDLlicense, she will now be taking theresidents to the movies once more.Thursday, January 19th, is going to beour first trip! There will be a sign-outsheet in the activity book located inthe cafe.

Sign Language ClassesOn the First and Third Thursday of

each month, we are hoping to establisha sign language group. Since ourcommunity now has residents that usesign language as their main form ofcommunication, we thought it would bea good idea to offer lessons to bettercommunicate with them! The class willmeet at 10:30 am.

Memorable Moments

We made turkey wreaths out of yarn, tulle,and styrofoam! Needless to say it took us acouple of hours, but they turned out great.

Sometimes you need an excuse to go out andhave yourself a margarita! Our trip toApplebee’s for Veterans Day was a blast.

Jim got a free meal and a pretty drink! Soundslike an awesome day.
