Flag Day - June 14thCelebrate the symbol of our great country!
Please join the residents and staff of American HouseCedarlake at 11:45 a.m. outside in front of the
building by the flag pole for the raising of our beautifulflag! The ceremony will include everyone in
attendance holding a flag with all of our voices raisedas one, to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. We will
then proceed back into the building toward the CedarRoom for music and song by Tim Wilsey and Barrett
Haselwood. The live entertainment will be heardresonating through the halls during the lunch hour.
Chef Sam and his culinary staff will prepare adelicious BBQ lunch for all! American House
celebrates with this great tradition every year.Everyone is invited to join in the patriotic festivities on

masterpiece!Tuesday, June 28th, in our
Arts and Crafts Roomfrom 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Don “paint” clothes and an openmind. You will be guided from
beginning to end in the process oflight pencil sketching to covering yourcanvas with the design of the day. The
class is casual and fun! We sip aCabernet while “working” (provided by
American House Cedarlake orB.Y.O.B. if you prefer a different
selection!).You will learn to use a variety of
brushes, from flat, round, and rigor toobtain different effects and texture.No art background is needed, just
your sense of wonder and curiosity.There is enough room for nine
