CICP (Contractor Installation Certification Program)

CICP is all about a commitment to quality. The main objective of this pro-

gram is to provide each Builder and Roofing Contractor the information,

skills and competency required to supervise on-site installation so that

the end-product qualifies for the industry leading warranty program

offered by American Buildings Company and Architectural Metal Sys-

tems.

Each two and one half day workshop is packed full of valuable infor-

mation. Beginning each day in the classroom, you will learn the critical

elements of quality installation. You will also learn how to monitor your

crews during product installation to assure yourself and your customer a

quality end product that will distance your company far beyond your

competition.

The afternoon sessions of your program include the actual assembly of

full scale roofs. During these sessions you will be under the direct

supervision of experienced roofing professionals in an indoor laboratory

setting designed especially for product installation training.

You and your fellow classmates will have the chance to build hips, roof-to

-wall interfaces, ridge assemblies, panel end laps, trim lines and virtual-

ly every other condition that represents the real world conditions of new

metal roof construction, retro-fit and architectural metal roofing. You are

also provided an opportunity to examine special products and conditions

like those you will see on your job-sites

All classes will be held in Eufaula, AL.

You will have the opportunity to reflect on each of your carefully

designed work sessions as they are inspected by professionals with

the same demanding standards that will be used in the field in-

spection of your projects. Through your program you will have the

opportunity to exchange information with your workshop directors

about specific project related issues and learn from the highly

experienced staff that supports your learning opportunity.

Even the lunch sessions are designed for learning and building

your relationship with American Buildings Company. Each day

you and your people will have the opportunity to meet and talk

with the customer support personnel, engineering and staff that

serve your company. CICP is an opportunity you do not want to

Successful completion of the CICP program earns you and your

company the right to proudly claim membership among the

industry’s most highly respected roofing contractors. Successful

completion of the program also earns you the privilege to promote

and sell one of the most advanced and sought after labor and
