Vision
Our vision is to integrate lifestyle medicine into medical education. Lifestyle behaviors, including nutrition, physical activity and self-care are critical determinants of health. Through training, physicians will be poised to treat and prevent the current pandemic of chronic disease and reduce unsustainable healthcare costs.

The Lifestyle Medicine Education Collaborative (LMEd) provides evidence-based resources, and builds community throughout medical education for the prevention and treatment of lifestyle related diseases.

1) Serve as the epicenter for evidence-based lifestyle medicine educational resources.
2) Foster faculty and students to become Champions of Change to advocate for and implement lifestyle medicine throughout medical education.

• Physician wellness component – personal wellness goal setting and reporting - may be through journaling, reflecting, logging, etc.. but must be comprehensive and robust for a minimum of 6 months
