AM Consulting Engineers (AMCE), a proud member of the AM Invest Group, is a multi-disciplinary, consulting engineering fi rm that provides professional engineering services to a large spectrum of clients in both the Public and Private sectors.
Founded in 2005 by Mr. Auswell Mashaba, AMCE is 100% black owned and managed. A culture of engineering excellence has allowed AMCE to position itself as a pioneer within certain engineering sectors. AMCE can proudly see projects through from feasibility to design, from implementation through to completion and hand-over. The uncompromising expert delivery of projects is sewn in the very fi ber of AMCE’s existence - it has been the life blood of their success.
AMCE is ISO compliant and as such the implementation of effi cient processes coupled with technical expertise, ensures that all project solutions are of a global stature.
As a rapidly evolving company, AMCE is proud to be involved in an industry of infrastructure development. Its core objective is to contribute towards the reconstruction of the country by supporting the NDP goals to eradicate poverty and decrease the unemployment rate; through innovations that promote the use of labour without compromising quality.
Mr. Auswell Mashaba is a Technologist with more than twenty years’ experience in both the public and private sectors. He holds a BTech in Civil Engineering, a Master of Management degree, and various post-graduate certifi cates. Auswell Mashaba has also completed a Senior Executive Programme for Southern Africa through Harvard Business School. He is highly experienced in project management, community based projects, construction supervision, planning and design of roads and water projects, route investigation and selection, and traffi c studies and analysis.
Prior to establishing AMCE, Mr. Mashaba worked for a number of companies in the construction sector including Wilson Bayly Holmes-Ovcon (WBHO), and V&V Consulting Engineers. He also served as a senior manager in the public sector and was the DDG (acting Head of Department) of Public Works, Roads and Transport in Mpumalanga Province (South Africa) before exiting from the public sector.
Mr. Mashaba has been at the helm of AMCE since its inception, and plays an integral support role to the project team to ensure successful project execution.
