Company history

1959 Multicolor & Nagel established in Hamburg as a silk sreen printing house

1982 INTERCOAT founded as a coating and converting factory for pressure sensitive film laminates

1987 INTERCOAT established international sales of rolls, cut sheets and cadcam cuts

1989 Print Inform founded as manufacturer of repositionable sticky notes

1996 AMC KGaA founded as holding company of Print Inform, Multicolor, INTERCOAT and Notes

2003 Global Notes founded with a new state of the art factory east of Hamburg

2004 Print Inform Japan founded for production of coated rolls. Production in China started.

40 mio. Euro revenue , 60 mio. sqm produced, 90 employees

2006 Merger of INTERCOAT, Global Notes, Print Inform, AMC Holding into AMC Pancke AG

2009 Print Inform relocated to the Global Notes site in order to concentrate paper processing to one facility

2012 Change of name to AMC AG – Advanced Methods of Coating
