… with an excellent infrastructure

Stuttgart has one of Europe‘s most modern trade fair centres.

Messe Stuttgart offers exhibitors and visitors short distances and

good accessibility. For the airport, S-Bahn (suburban rail) station

and the A 8 motorway junction are located in the direct vicinity.

Exhibitors and visitors have parking facilities at the trade fair and

good connections to public transport.

AMB – 2016 The Number 1 in Germany AMB – Key to Markets …

… with the best companies active globally

Over 40 % of the metal-working and metal-processing companies

in Europe are located in and around Stuttgart, within a radius of

200 kilometres. In addition, 50 % of the largest European machine

tool manufacturers can be found here. Important companies are at

home in this region. For a high-tech trade fair such as AMB, this is

the ideal environment.

… with special know-how

All exhibitors and partners benefit from the highly specialised

high-tech competence of the trade fair professionals.

These other trade fairs may also be of interest to you (excerpt):

Increasingly international character

For years, the leading trade fair has attracted an ever growing

number of international exhibitors. At AMB 2014, practically all

the world‘s leading manufacturers in the industry were present.

Also the international visitors are increasing in number. They came

from almost 80 countries – the majority from Austria and Switzer-

land, followed by Italy, Scandinavia and France, 15 % in total.

New records

With over 90,000 visitors, 1,357 exhibitors and 9 fully booked halls,

AMB is Europe‘s leading metal-working and -processing trade fair,

and in Germany the Number 1 in even-numbered years.

Practically all the exhibitors were very satisfied with the outcome of

AMB 2014, and emphasised that the customers and visitors from all

industry segments came to the trade fair with concrete investment

projects.

… with the best media network

Messe Stuttgart ensures a problem-free exchange of ideas and

experiences between exhibitors, associations, institutes, technical

supporters, visitors and the media by means of various communica-

tion channels such as classical press work with newspapers and large

technical magazines, social media or content marketing. Numerous

journalists cover AMB before, during and after the trade fair. In

2014, the reporting in Germany and abroad achieved the best media

resonance ever with an extremely high advertising value equivalence.

Comments by exhibitors at AMB 2014

Our expectations in terms of our trade fair presence at AMB

2014 were fully satisfied. We were particularly pleased with the

high quality of visitors. They showed huge interest in our new

tool solutions. Our experts received individual machining tasks,

as well as complete equipment projects. Against this background,

we are expecting good follow-up business.

Dr.-Ing. Michael Klinger,

Managing Director, Seco Tools, Erkrath

We are very satisfied with the outcome of the trade fair. Germa-

ny is a very important market for us. We are currently investing

in the region and in AMB, because many supplier companies are

located in the greater Stuttgart area. There were more visitors at

our trade fair stand than in 2012, including many new customers,

as well as our existing customers. We will be back again in 2016

and would like a larger stand.

Jens Thing,

Managing Director, Haas Automation, Zaventem/Belgium

We are really satisfied. It was an excellent trade fair. We were

able to achieve a new visitor record at our trade fair stand.

There were noticeably more visitors from abroad.

Mirko Merlo,

Chairman of the Board, Walter AG, Tübingen

Overall, for us AMB went extremely well. We had a good mix of

our existing customers and new customers at the stand. We were

able to register a significant increase in the number of visitors

at our stand, also more foreign visitors than in 2012. AMB 2016

is a definite event for us!

Thomas Remmele,

Sales Manager, Machine Tools and Automotive, Region Germany,

South-West, Bosch-Rexroth, Lohr am Main

We are present at many trade fairs, but here in Stuttgart it was

fantastic.

We were literally overwhelmed. The very first day was excellent.

Numerous visitors attended our stand on all days, we have a

thick book with specific requests, and actually concluded sales

directly at AMB. During the discussions with customers it was

pleasing that the market situation is viewed in a very positive

light. We would like an even larger trade fair stand for 2016.

Joachim Herberger,

Managing Director, Mazak, Göppingen

AMB was very good for SKF, exactly the right platform for our

range of products. The target group was reached precisely, for

SKF it was literally the ” key to markets“. The customers at our

stand especially appreciated the new developments.

Our stand placement was very good. See you at the next AMB!

Sales Director for South Germany, Lubrication Business Unit,
