Amateur Artists Program
1. Objective :
To promote amateur artists and their art on an ongoing basis.
2. Program Highlights :
• This program has been designed to promote amateur artists and
their art using Indiaart platform. A separate section for Amateur
artists has already been created on www.indiaart.com . This section
will list all the amateur artists signed up under this program. Each
artist will be able to show his / her portfolio of art in a comprehensive
manner. The artist can keep adding any new work/s that has beencreated by him/her to this portfolio. This will be like a mini website
for each amateur artist.
• The artist will also be able to run an online exhibition whenever
he/she is ready with a body of work to be exhibited. All such online
exhibitions will be listed in the same special section for Amateur
Artists on www.indiaart.com . There will be no separate charge for
running such an online show and all those who are registered under
this program will be eligible.
• Indiaart will not charge any commission for any orders received for
artworks of amateur artists. Any orders thus received will be passed
on to the concerned artist.
• Indiaart has been organising special art exhibitions at public galleries
for last three years to promote the talents of amateur artists. These
exhibitions have been branded as "Artfest" and have received
excellent response from all quarters. Indiaart will regularly organise
such "Artfest" shows so that the amateur artists get bigger
opportunities. Amateur artists can participate in these shows for a
nominal participation fee. During "Artfest", Indiaart will organise
demonstrations and talks by well known artists for the benefit of
participating amateur artists. All such demonstrations will be put up
on www.indiaart.com and all amateur artists who have registered
will get a privileged access to these resources.
• Indiaart will also assist amateur artists if they wish to put up solo or
group exhibitions anywhere in India or out of India.

3. Registration :
Any amateur artist of Indian origin is eligible to register.He /she may be residing in any part of the world.The registration fee is Rs. 2500/-
The registration period is 3 years. This means that all those who areregistered will be able to display their portfolios for a period of 3 yearsunder the special section for Amateur Artists on www.indiaart.com. They
will also be able to run online shows in this section for no extra charge. Allother services will be provided for a nominal fee which will becommunicated on a case to case basis.To register under this program, please fill in the online form available on
www.indiaart.com under “Amateur Artists” section.
