Amadeus Hotel Multimedia - So simple to use

Amadeus provides you with 2 ways to upload your images, captions and descriptive text:

Via the Amadeus Image Gateway

A web link with user name and password is provided at hotel

property or chain level giving access to:

> View images function - to check the images, captions

and descriptive text currently loaded for each hotel

> Add images function - to add an image from your own database

and match it to its’ relevant category (exterior, room, restaurant, etc.)

> Add text function - allows you to:

• add a caption to the image

• provide a short (250 characters) overview supporting the image.

This descriptive text is displayed alongside the property

in each multi-availability hotel search

Descriptive text does not go through a quality check whether submitted via the Amadeus Image Gateway or Leonardo data transfer.

It is the sole responsibility of the hotel to ensure accuracy and suitability.

Via Leonardo

Leonardo is specialised in the procurement, management and

distribution of high quality digital hotel images. As such,

Leonardo is the chosen supplier of hotel multimedia to Amadeus.

> Images are sent to Leonardo by the hotel company via FTP transfer

> All images undergo a strict quality check to ensure:

• High quality resolution and useable, inoffensive content

• Correct image categorisation and labelling

> Images are then resized in 10 dimensions to provide all Amadeus

platforms with the required size and format

> Short and long descriptive text entries are input on an Excel file

template and emailed to Leonardo for subsequent uploading
