Setting
• Outside prison gates, where a convict is released out on bail, his close friend greets him outside the prison gates.
• This takes place outside the back gates of the roundhouse. We used this setting as it looks pretty similar to leaving gates in an actual prisons. Also because it looks believable.
What will they talk about?
• They’ll talk about his time in prison and what he went through. He’ll then ask his friend for drugs as his friend is a dealer. He was in prison for being caught taking drugs, he has been released out on bail.
The dialogue
Convict calls friend ’’hello, I just got released, I’ll be there in a bit.’’
We don’t see the friends response on the phone call. When they first see each other:Friend- ‘’look who it is, finally out ey’’ Convict-’’it feels good to be out, mannnn do you have any?’’Friend-’’ of course I do, what do you think this is? (rhetorical
question)’’ Convict- ’’I can always count on you, I’ve missed this more
then anything’’They then go on to talk about what happened during his time
in prison.
costumes
• Hoodies, jeans and bomber jackets. This is because they’re both from the streets and have no care in the world of what people think of them.
