Today our Teacher Training department runs a wide range of English teaching certificates including the CELTA and DELTA qualifications for people who want to teach second language English in both the UK and abroad.

We also train non-native English speakers to teach other European languages to adults

Our CELTA teacher training qualification is validated by Cambridge ESOL, as is our Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (Delta) . We also run refresher courses for English language teachers who want to update their skills.

TEACHER TRAINING

CELTA teacher training is ideal if you want to take a career break, if you’re taking a Gap Year between studies and want to travel, or if you simply want to start a rewarding new profession.

¿Who should take this course?

People with little or no previous training as a teacher.

Entry Requirements:

- Be 20 years old or over - Higher education completed - Awareness and excellent competence in the English language (written and spoken) - Have the potencial to become an effective teacher

Duration: :4 week Full time or 12 week part time.

Start Dates: once per month.

Price: 1450



DELTA training course is the ideal next step if you already have substantial experience of teaching English as a foreign language. It’s excellent preparation for more senior teaching positions.

¿Who should take this course?

Experienced English language teachers who woud like to improve their existing skills and develop new techniques for career progression.

Entry Requirements:

- Minimum age is 21. - Have an initial teacher training certificate in English and good academic background. - Minimum of one year´s full time (600 hours) teaching experience.

Duration: 8 week full time divided in 3 modules

Start Dates: March and September.

SPECIAL SUMMER COURSES

Our summer language courses are the perfect opportunity to brush up on your classroom skills. Join like-minded English Language teachers for highly focused, practical two-week refresher courses to increase your confidence and knowledge of teaching practice.

• Please sign up for the programme at least 3 month in advance. • Copies of the first pages of your Passport are required along with your application. • Housing options are: Homestay, Residence, Guest House and/ or Hotels. Costs are not included in the

• Upfront payment of USD 300 is required to book a spot for you. • Airline Tickets cost USD 900 plus taxes (low season) or USD 1200 plus taxes (high season)
