I want to be the first to welcome you back to

your high school home. High school years

are a uniquely intense and poignant time of

life. Those memories, for good or bad, stay

vivid decades later. I’m praying that your

time spent with old friends back in this place

will revive those memories of goodness, fun,

and friendship that still have the power to

enrich our lives. I’m also praying that if your

memories are painful, you will find healing

in your return. Many things have changed

over the years but the mountains that so

imprinted themselves on us still stand guard.

The frog still crouches nearby. Mount Ellis

still surveys the campus and the ski slopes of

the Bridger Mountains still beckon.

This weekend’s program is designed to give

you time with old friends, time for worship,

and time to learn about the ways Mt. Ellis is

still making a difference in the lives of kids

today. We are leaving the doors unlocked

around campus so you can wander to the

places your memories hold strongest. I hope

you’ll take the time to introduce yourself

to students and faculty. We love hearing

stories from the “good old days.” If there is

anything we can do to make your weekend

more enjoyable, please talk to Kevin Emmer-

Sabbath Potluck Lunch Please join us immediately following church for a potluck lunch in the gym. Mount Ellis will provide the entrée, vegetable and drink. You are invited to bring bread, salad or dessert and enjoy this great time to catch up with friends.

Walikonis Trail Weather permitting, join us as we take a .85 mile walk around campus following the future path of the Walikonis Memorial Exercise Trail. Construction on this trail will begin over the summer. Our thanks go to Dawn Walikonis and the entire family.

Dixon Vespers Have great memories from the music program at MEA or great tour stories you can share? Join Harold & Janelle as they share music from the 70’s and 80’s and reminisce of their 20+ years at MEA. They want to hear your stories too!

Benefit Brunch The Senior Class invites you to Sunday brunch in the Allaway Dining Hall. There is no charge for the breakfast, but donations will help fund the senior gift to the school: a rock climbing wall. Enjoy a wide variety of breakfast items and of course, fresh crêpes.
