Alumni Health and Fitness Program Quick Facts: o Population Served – female alumnae, ages 65 years and older o Program Frequency – annual, 3-day event o Semesters Offered – spring o Program Location – JMU campus The AHFP is an event dedicated to promoting the wellness of JMU alumnae by providing them with the opportunity to participate in testing and receive personalized plans. The committee is responsible for several aspects, including finalizing the schedule, securing speakers, ordering meals, making dinner reservations, developing participant materials, and promoting the event. Past lectures and workshops have included exercise and chronic disease, healthy cooking demonstration, balance, yoga, pilates, and pickle ball.
