Nora Byrne ’16, a DSHA grad, has been rowing for the Milwaukee Rowing Club for a little over four

years, competing in larger regattas and qualifying last year for the USRowing Youth Nationals in

Sarasota, FL. A number of universities were interested in Nora, but she was determined to row in a Division 1 program, and was excited to be offered a position on the UW-Madison team. She’s always loved the coaches and team at Wisconsin and is very excited to spend the next four years rowing for the Badgers.

With more than 20 scholarship offers from several major universities, MUHS offensive lineman, Sean Timmis ‘16 announced that he is committing to the Badgers at UW-Madison. Timmis’ ability to play guard or center, and delivering a strong camp performance

in front of the staff, made him a preferred walk-on. Sean, at 6-5, 265-pounds, loves the chance to stay close to home and believes that Wisconsin is a great school with great football. (Credit: Badgerswire)
