ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST concluded its 4th edition with the participation of 173 exhibitors from 28 countries and 3,811 attendees from 92 countries reaffirming its stature as the leading exhibition for aluminium & allied industries in the MENA region.
Highlighting the Middle East’s future role as the world’s powerhouse in aluminium production and facilitating discussions on uplifting the downstream sectors to support the phenomenal growth in upstream industries, ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST served as a platform to showcase the GCC’s potential and promise. Inaugurated by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Ahmad Al Tayer, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Vice Chairman of Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), the event continued to welcome the support of key
regional and international players in the industry. The exhibition plays an outstanding role in paving ways to forge alliances and build partnerships between smelters, energy resources and logistics industries, which in return help the region to cement its position as a key world player in the aluminium industry.
ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST 2015 provided a range of specialized knowledge and networking platforms for attendees to enhance their experience, including the ‘Innovation Podium’ which featured over 20 high calibre presentations on various topics and was free to attend, as well as the on-site business matchmaking programme ‘BusinessConnect’ which accommodated 107 buyers from 13 countries and hosted over 500 one on one meetings.
