The Drive in movies boomed in the 1950’s taking the number of drive insFrom 1000 to 5000 between 1949 and 1958

Dinner life changed due to Drive Ins starting making dinners and had Dinners available such as pizza and hamburgers. The life of drive in became an allDay event that had something for everyone. The largest parks could hold up to 3000Cars.

As the size and number of drive-ins increase, many go from just a playground to: Miniature Trains Pony Rides Boat Rides Talent Shows Miniature Golf Animal Shows

Although the idea of a drive through had been around for awhile the drive thru became most popular in the 1950s with waitresses skating around with roller-skates and clips for the ends of the cars
