Ideas and Impact of Computing• An intro CSE course for non-CS/SE majors– “gentler” course than CSE 1001 (“Java 1”) required for

CS/SE majors– Maybe 1/4 overlap between CSE1010 and CSE1001– More emphasis on real-world problems and less

emphasis on programming– Could help prepare for CSE 1001
