Fingerprint Alteration means Cutting-then-Stitching, Transplanting or Burning fingertips
to alter fingerprints willingly or unwillingly.
Matching Altered fingerprints to their unaltered mates (if possible) using
efficient modeling technique, Hough transform and Level-3 features (Pore).
Expected outcomes :
□ Detecting Altered Fingerprints more accurately than existing methods
□ Improved matching performance by using Level-3 features (Pore)
□ Improved matching performance for unaltered fingerprint also
Objectives :
□ Detecting any types of Altered Fingerprint accurately
□ Using an efficient modeling technique for Altered area reconstruction
□ Devising a faster algorithm for matching with database
