Who is Omar AlSomahIs a Syrian football player who is currently playing

for Al Ahli in the Saudi Professional League. On 13

February 2015, Omar scored the first goal for Al

Ahli SC in the final of the Saudi Crown Prince Cup

against Al-Hilal and won the title. It was his 18th

goal in a season with Al Ahli SC in 17 matches.

On 17 February 2015, Soma helped Al Ahli SC to

qualify in the group stage of AFC Champions

League.

He is very famous and likable among the Saudi

youth ranging from 15 to 40 years old. He has a

great presence on the social media focused on

Twitter and Instagram.

Al Somah Challenge BriefWe will run a digital campaign called (#AlSomahCahllenge) on social media in collaboration with Omar, and targeting his fans to make a digital breakthrough and to increase our followers by more than 20%. The campaign will work in three stages starting with “Guess the challenge” ending with the primary cam-paign “Freestyle football” to encourage the followers to engage more with us. Detailed as follow:

17th of May. The idea of this activity is asking

Al Soma’s fans to guess the challenge, the

winner will get Omar Al Soma T-Shirt. The

main benefit from this activity is to increase

the traffic to our social media and the use of

the hashtags.

On the first two days we got more than

150,000 impressions. and more than 45,000

engagments.

Our Achievement in The First Stage“Guess the Challenge":

Freestyle Football Stage (second stage)Will started on 17th of May and will continue until 1st of July. To participate in this

campaign, they need to take a video while they are doing some freestyle moves,

after following our rules and conditions they have to upload it into our drive applica-

tion and invite people to vote for them. One of our sponsors was responsible to

make two videos weekly contains infographics to explain how to participate in the

campaign, and the freestayle team.

The Campaign ApplicationWe choose to have an application for this campaign to make sure that we are lead-

ing the traffic to our website and social media, this will help us to get a full informa-

tion about the participators, such like (name, email, mobile...) as well as asking them

to share our page if they want to collect more scores.

Our video sponsor will make sure to create two different videos every week to en-

courage people to participate with us, not only this! But also he will add our theme

and logos in each participated video.

PlayStation Champions (third stage)We will choose 32 team from our participators, to challenge each other by playing a football game. This small event was on the days 26th of June and 3rd of July. the winner will get his gift in the final day wich will be Sunday 5th of July.
