• Horses• Lions• Mammoths• Bison• Deer• Ibexes• Humans are rarely
included and, if so, are drawn like stick figures.
• Many animals are overlapped and painted over which shows MOVEMENT and RHYTHM
• Ground pigments were used from natural resources, stones and dirt.
• They were mixed with water, saliva or animal fats to make paint.
• Some were blown directly on the wall through reeds or hollowed-out bones
