COMMUNITY MESSAGE
In 2018, Alpine School District’s theme was Every One Matters. In 2019,
the ASD’s theme was Shine Alpine! And in 2020, ASD’s theme is One
community, one vision! The powerful words within these themes over the
years have sent a strong message; one of mutual respect, inclusion,
dignity, and love!
Often times in education we hear the message: be a change agent; one
that as our district’s mission states, educates all students to inspire
learning and protect our freedoms, one that speaks up when injustices are
occurring in plain sight and one that creates a culture of inclusivity, dignity
and love for all students. As educators, the work starts with each of us.
The conversations start with each of us. The change starts with each of
us.
Let’s engage in this conversation. This is an opportunity to exercise the
aspirations contained in our Vision for Learning, particularly
communication, collaboration, character, citizenship. Below are some
resources for building a culture of mutual respect, inclusion, dignity, and
love.
