● If your student ID number or the faculty you belong to changes when the new academic year starts, you need to change your student information. New third year students are required to take special care with this.

● Login to the Web System, click "Change User Registration information( ユーザー登録情報変更 )" on the menu screen and input the new information(ID number/faculty).

● Only during this period are you allowed to change fundamental information such as student ID number and the department. Please make sure to change information within the period.

AttractionNameChange ● If you want to change the attraction name registered in "Attraction Registration", please

register a new name in "[15] Registration for Public Relation" (→p.n) by March 26th, 9 p.m. • It may take time to update information. • Please contact us at "Inquiries( 問い合わせ )" if you wish to change the attraction name after the date

above. Changes on and after April 7 (Sat) will not be reflected in the pamphlet.

● The manager who is graduating in March 2018 must change managers before returning his/her student ID card. The new manager must be enrolled in the University of Tokyo from April onward.

Notes ● You must apply all menus you are planning to serve.

● We and the public health center will together screen the contents of your application. Afterthe screening, we will perhaps ask you to change the menu or cooking procedure.

• We strongly recommend you to buy ingredients/beverages etc. after the application is permitted.

Instructions

Preface ● You will not be permitted to serve any food which violates the following standards or are

not applied in "Food/Drink Application".

● Please do not directly contact the Public Health Center.

GeneralInstructions

“MainItem”and“SubItem” ● We call menus which need at least one cooking procedure (heating, cutting, mixing etc.)

“Main Item” and others “Sub Item”. • Sub Items are mainly beverages and snack foods.

● You can serve at most one "Main Item".

● Regarding "Sub Item", you can serve more than one.

InstructionsConcerningCookingProcedure ● You cannot serve foods that require two or more heating steps to cook.

• “Boiling”, “grilling”, “frying”, etc. are counted as one heating step each. • Heating step must be done in your stall just before serving. • You must heat all foods except for shaved ice, beverages, and snacks etc.

● Purchasing and preparation must be done in the morning of the days of the Festival. • You will not be permitted to leave any food or beverage (except for unopened oil and beverages) in

your tent when you go home.

● All ingredients and beverages must be kept in a cooler, except those that can be stored at room temperature.

• Frozen foods must be defrosted just before cooking.

● Using knives or blenders to cook during the days of the festival will not be permitted. • This is due to insufficiency of cleaning facilities. • You can use disposal knives. If you use, be sure to change them frequently.

● Never keep foods (especially batter and dough) long after cooking.

● Never use tap water of water places (in Japanese “ 水汲場 ”) as the ingredient. • Please use bottled mineral water if you need water to cook.

● Please pay full attention to hygiene. • If you serve foods or beverages, please attach side curtains to your tent. • When you cook, please wear an apron, and also wear plastic gloves when you touch foods.

IngredientsYouCannotUse ● Raw food (Sashimi, raw vegetables, fruits, etc.)

• All the food must be processed with heat, except for Kakigori (shaved ice), Tokoroten, chocolate-covered fruits, soft drinks, and ready-made products.

● Cream • Only "Royal Milk Cream" purchased via the Committee, and dairy-free whipping cream that can be

preserved under room temperature, are permitted.

● Curry • Due to insufficiency of cleaning facilities.

● Noodles that require large amount of water • Due to insufficiency of cleaning facilities, Udon and Soba noodles, and other noodles that need to be

boiled are not allowed. • Those cooked on iron plates (e.g. Yakisoba) are permitted.

● Rice • Only aseptic packaged rice is permitted.

● Milk and other uncooked dairy products • Only creamer (potion milk) used for coffee is permitted.

● Grilled innards, blow fish and oyster

● Ice-cream • Only those packed with small separate packages, such as ice-cream puff, are permitted.

● Soup • Please keep one heated until just before serving.

● If you are planning to raise fund for donation or for your own attraction, you must submit “Fund-Raising Application.”

● Fund-raising (for donation) refers to collecting money in order to donate it to an external entity or an external person.

• You must guarantee visitors’ will to decide the amount of money for donation, so taking ambiguous stance on donation, such as “We will donate money only if our attraction makes a profit”, will not be permitted.

● Fund-raising (for your own attraction) refers to collecting money voluntarily paid by visitors after seeing your event.

2-4.ExternalEntityApplicationDeadlineMarch26th(Mon)9p.m.

● If you are planning to cooperate with external entities, you must submit “External Entity application”, regardless of how much they are related to your event.

● ”External Entity” means all individuals and organizations except for your own attraction.

● Carry out your event with the external entities or person (such as NPO or other university)

● Receive aid from external entities in forms of money or goods.

● Advertise external entities on materials such as flyers, posters, pamphlets etc.

● Event members or guests orally refers to external entities.

● Distribute, sell, or show materials containing the products’ names of external entities, or the names of external entities themselves.

Notes ● You must hand in your flyers or any other materials that mention external entities to the

Committee by April 20th (Fri). If you do not hand in, you will not be permitted to distribute them during May Festival.

● You must make sure that the content of your attraction is not against for "Attraction Requirements" and "Autonomous Regulations". For example, the following conducts are prohibited.

• Guests publicizes their books. • Propagate political organizations or religious organization

● If your event will collect personal information, you must hand in the questionnaire and the like you will use to the Committee (The place and the deadline is the same as "External

3-1. Instruction onUsing Fire/ElectricEquipment

SafetyDrill ● In order to be thorough on safe use of equipment, we hold a safety drill beforehand.

• It is intended to be held at the 3rd Information Session.

● All attractions using any fire/electric equipment must attend the drill. It is not permitted to use the equipment without the attendance.

FireChecks ● During the May Festival, we will check any fire/electric equipment before starting the use.

● It is required to take the check every day before starting the use.

● It is not allowed to start using fire/electric equipment without taking this check, even for test runs.

● More details are to be announced at the 3rd Information Session.

FireExtinguisher ● If you will use fire/electric equipment, you must rent at least one fire extinguisher

regardless of the number of the equipment.

FireEquipments ● Attractions planning to use fire equipments must prepare them via those rental companies

we mediate(San-no Rental or Coop Rental).

● For some fire equipment, it is permitted to bring your possessions. In this case, filling in "Bringing Fire Equipment Application" (pg. n) is required.

● If planning to use fire equipment on a table, you must rent Heat Shield Panel ( 遮熱板 ). • The Heat Shield Panel must cover all the area where the equipment and the table are touching.

● Please prepare lighters on your own. For lighters, filling in "Bringing Fire Equipment Application" is not necessary.

ElectricEquipment ● If using any types of electric equipment, a generator and a gasoline carrier are necessary.

You must prepare them via those rental companies we mediate(San-no or Coop).

3 InformationonEquipment/Foods

A gasoline carrier is for carrying gasoline for generators. Regardless of the number of generator using, please prepare one of them.

● Please purchase gasoline at gas stations.

● Please do not leave a gasoline carrier as gasoline remain inside. It has to be completely empty each time you fulfill a generator.

● If planning to use an electric equipment, you have to prepare a generator which is capable of providing 1.1 times as much electricity as written on the equipment as consuming electricity. It is for safety.

• In "Rental Order"(pg. n), please describe in detail about the use of generators (for what equipment, and the equipment's consuming electricity).

● If planning to use electric equipment on a table, you must rent Heat Shield Panel. It must cover all the area where the equipment and the table are touching.

• "Cleaning Responsible Attraction" will check if your outdoor block is returned into the original condition.

• All attractions except for "Cleaning Responsible Attraction" must undergo the check by "Cleaning Responsible Attraction"
