CORPORATE PROFILE Background
History The Company was founded in 2005. Up until 2005, my experience included working as a government consultant in privatization deals in the Power sector. I was also the top manager of National Companies in the Oil and Gas sector where my responsibilities included corporate strategy, development and new projects, and M&A deals in the industry. After years of experience of working for the government as the head of the ministry department and being a petrochemical industry strategy developer, I decided to take everything I had learned and founded Almagest.
What we do
We provided services for national, private, local, and foreign companies in oil, gas, telecom, retail, construction, banking, chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical and HoReCa industries.
Our main services for foreign clients are: government relations, market penetration strategy, and market/ industry/business opportunities overviews.
Our approach
Our approach is to have a regular rotation of our employees who each have at least 3-5 years of experience between consulting and managerial positions. This allows us to have a unique blend of theoretical knowledge with real life business experience which gives us the ability for problem solving in creative ways through different perspectives. The main goal is always to find a manageable solution and one that can be implemented successfully.

These strategies can be narrowed for certain activities like financial or marketing ones, but in any case it requires effective implementation. We work with our clients to develop effective organization structure, business process design and corporate governance.
Overviews and Analysis
We analyze and provide to our clients insights on Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Russia economies and do researches on identified sectors. This is part of our strategic consulting service or could be done separately.
Government relations
We provide effective communication with state bodies and national companies on the basis of our experience and knowledge.

Raushan Sadykova. Director
Raushan started as financial specialist in national railway company and grew up through tax accounting to top management positions in financial management, auditing in the companies of aviation, chemical and IT industries of Russia and Kazakhstan. She held positions of board member of securities house and is member of Independent Directors Association.
Arman Dospambetov. Director Arman started as financial specialist in leasing companies and grew up through business development and investment activities in the companies of agricultural, retail and transportation sectors. He held positions of Deputy Chairman in banking and CEO in retail companies and is member of Independent Directors Association.
