There are many allusions in the film “Run Lola Run”.

For example, when her dad called Lola a “cuckoo’s egg”, he was referring to how she wasn’t actually his daughter, and only a crazy person would actually father a crazy person like herself.

Vertigo (1958)

Run Lola Run - Casino (1998)

There is a painting on the wall in the Casino scene, which is a reference to the film “Vertigo” in which Madeleine Elster is looking at the painting of Carlotta Valdes. This is symbolic because both films have similar themes.

The different scenario theme in “Run Lola Run” is portrayed in many different television shows…

Monday (1999) This episode shows four different "what if"-stories... they look almost the same, only with the difference that if you change just a little bit in the story, then the future can change completely.

In the episode Remedial Chaos Theory (2011) Troy and Abed invite the study group to their housewarming party. When the pizza man arrives, everyone agrees to roll a die to determine who has to get the pizza. The episode then splits into different timelines with each alternate timeline.

Blind Chance (1981) Witek runs after a train. Three variations follow on how such a seemingly banal incident could influence the rest of Witek's life.

Also, many shows quote references to the film…

Salon of the Dead (2012) “If you want my advice, it’s Run Lola Run"

Unfriendly Skies (2000) As they're about to recreate the events in the plane, Grissom says "We're gonna have to do a Run Lola Run and play this in literal time"

The Devil Is in the Details... And the Upstairs Bedroom (2009) A "possessed" girl speaks German during a possession episode, actually she's quoting "Run Lola Run" which, as mentioned later, is her favourite movie.

Forrest Gump (1994) was “Run Lola Run” a copy of the famous saying “Run Forrest Run“ ?

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) The match cut of the red bag filled with stolen money to the red phone falling into its place is an homage to Kubrick's famous shot

The Tin Drum (1979) In a few scenes, Lola breaks glass by screaming, just like Blechtrommel's main character Oskar. Both films have similar cuts between Lola and scattering glass items.
