Allied and the Hunt family have been serving banks in the pacific northwest with integrated security for over 60 years. Hunt talks about the way consumers are changing the way banks do business. He discusses how this changes their needs in security. One of the key factors Hunt discusses is that banks are not using vaults and other internal security devices as much as they used to since consumer preferences rely more on digital financial methods. This will continue to advance, so Allied is providing banks with enhanced ATM products, IP video surveillance systems, and lock services, which are all the most important measures in security for banks today and the future.     Allied's Customer Care Team Answers Some of Our Most Common Questions

    Q: How do I add a new user to my alarm panel?

    The above question has multiple answers:

    A 1: First Alert or Ademco Panels You can add a new user yourself if you have the Master Code for your ala rm panel.

    Enter the current Master Code (four digits) + the number '8' + the two digit numbers of the next open user code {03 to 33 for most panels) (FA 1600 panels user codes are three digits)+ the four digit code that the new user wants to have.

    A2: DMP Panels

    1. Access the User Menu > Press COMMAND until 'USER CODES?' displays. SELECT ADD.

    2. At this prompt, you can enter a new user number or scroll through the available user numbers.

    3. lfyou know the user number, Enter a new user number. Press COMMAND.

    4. lfyou don't know a user number, view available user numbers. Press any SELECT key/area. The first available user number displays. Press COMMAND.

    o Enter the new user code o Verify the number and press COMMAND o The defau lt user name appears o Press any SELECT key /area to clear this name o See the Entering User Names diagram in the User Manual Append ix B
