Decontamination Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Decontamination Operative to join the team in our

Hainault Community Equipment centre.

The Role:

• Responsible for ensuring decontamination of the community equipment is

done in line with MHRA guidelines

• To correctly quarantine, clean and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork

is correctly documented, logged and filed creating a clear audit trail

• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decontamination area

• Stock management, labelling and logging

• Picking, packing and loading

• Continual updating of order and stock systems and able to use a scanner if

required

About you:

• Strong previous stores/warehouse experience

• Be computer literate – previous experience of stock management systems

would be an advantage

• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal staff and suppliers

• Be able to work using own initiative but also work well as a part of a team

• Hold a full UK driving licence and have held it for at least 3 years

We are currently recruiting for a Healthcare Equipment Technician at our Hainault

Depot. The role is the face of Millbrook, where you will be responsible for the delivery

or installation of community equipment and as a result help transform living

standards for those in need.

You will assist with the deliveries, collections, repairs, servicing and testing of

community equipment in our service user’s home or associated locations.

The requirements are;

• You must hold a full UK drivers license

• You must be able to load and unload goods, some of which may be heavy

• Due to the repair and servicing side of the job, basic DIY experience is

essential

• You’ll need to have excellent communication skills and time keeping

• You’ll be self-motivating and able to work independently

• Ideally you’ll have previous experience of driving a van and working with the

public

• You will be required to participate in an on call rota

PPM Technician

adaptations to the home such as handrails, can make a significant impact in giving

We are looking for a PPM Technician to join the team who will be responsible for

carrying maintenance on electrical and hydraulic/lifting actuated equipment out in the

community in line with in-house training and current legislation. In addition to this

role, on an ad hoc basis as necessary, carry out deliveries and collections as booked

out by the call centre in a timely manner.

The Role:

• PPM’s – To carry out maintenance on electrical and hoisting equipment out in

the community in line with in-house training and current legislation

• Deliveries – To undertake pre-delivery inspection of all products and

undertake the delivery and handover of community equipment to a service user at

their home and/or other locations, as required

• Collections - Responsible for the collection of community equipment, and on

return to the service centre, must be scanned to the quarantine area

• Repairs – Responsible for carrying out repairs when required to do so

• Installation – Responsible for carrying out installation of equipment

• Stock check – to assist with annual stock checks as required

About you:

• Excellent communication skills are required to interact with internal staff,

prescribers and service users

• Must be able to work off their own initiative as well as part of a team

• Map reading skills with good attention to detail

• Good DIY skills

• Practical skills preferred and mechanical aptitude an advantage

• Qualification in carpentry, electronics or engineering would be required or

evidence of applying these within previous job roles

• You must have held a full UK driving license for at least 3 years which

qualifies you to drive a light goods van, no more than 6 points & had no serious

convictions
