Qur'anic implications upon Prophetic traditions andPrinciples of Prophetic traditions. The last divine book; Quran,in its own words is the Book that is as an exposition ofeverything, and guidance, a mercy, and glad tidings for thosewho are Muslims. The Quran had been considered core andoriginal source of Shariah commandments since primitive erato date. Moreover, Muslim Scholars have pondered upon theQuran and derived basic rules for all disciplines of Islamicknowledge. Prophetic traditions are also believed as primaryand authentic source of Shariah in the light of Quran. TheScholars of Prophetic traditions (Hadith) inferred theprinciples of Prophetic traditions (Usul e Hadith) from theQuranic verses. The article discloses the arguments andpattern of reasoning of Hadith scholars to authenticate andvalidate the principles of Prophetic traditions. The articlesubstantiate that Quran and hadith are interlinked andindispensible for each other.
