Actuarial Student Internship Description ALL 10, Inc. is seeking a part-time actuarial intern for the Spring of 2014. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties. Intern Responsibilities Proofing and editing exam preparation materials for grammatical and formula accuracy Updating Excel spreadsheets (e.g. loss development triangles, balance sheet and income statements, ratemaking exhibits, etc.) Preparing formula sheets for web based applications Evaluating effectiveness of current online training applications and working with our web based development team to implement new interactive online study aids Interns will work directly with other interns as well as owner of the company, and be directly involved with the daily operations of the buiness. Internship Period The internship will span during the months of February to May. A committent of a minimum of 15 hours per week is required. Requirements Applicants should be actuarial science majors with a high degree of proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, with expertise in Excel. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position. Majors Actuarial Science, Statistics Undergraduate or Graduate. Stipend Candidates can expect to receive a stipend/bonus at the end of their internships, depending on individual performances, in addition to a monthly stipend for gas mileage of $50.
