FROM THE CLINIC Just a friendly reminder that should your child have any contagious, diagnosed condition such as strep, pink eye, etc. your child needs to stay home the recommended time as stated from the doctor. Those with fevers, vomiting or diarrhea need to be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school. Please refer to pg. 37 of the Family Handbook as a guide and inform the school should your child be diagnosed with an illness. News and Notes from the Athletic Department The first DPL Cross Country meet is this Saturday, October 7th at Norbuck Park. Good luck to all the Eagle runners this weekend! Time Schedule (approximate) JV Girls 7:30am JV Boys 7:45am Varsity Girls 8:05am Varsity Boys 8:25am The varsity cross country team and the girls’ varsity basketball team had a friendly challenge during practice.

PAYMENT$ IN RENWEB Payments for school charges that may include Eagles Aftercare, Elective Fees, and Athletic Fees are paid in Renweb. The difference this year is all charges and payments are processed in FACTS. Once in Renweb click on the FACTS link for all family billing. The next screen will provide an option to make a payment. Golf Tournament Join us for the 4th annual Eagle Swings golf tournament benefitting our school. The tournament will be held at Canyon Creek Country Club on Tuesday, October 17. Check in will start at 10 am and golf will begin at 11 am with a shotgun start. Not a golfer, join us as a social member when golfing concludes at 3 p.m. Golfing participants ($135 per player/$500 per foursome) will receive lunch, dinner, beer, golf, golf gift bag, and cigar. Monday Morning Prayer Group

Our prayer group has reverted to meeting on Monday mornings so as not to interfere with Friday Mass. It is right after drop-off, in the chapel. If you have any prayer requests, please let Liz (in the front office) know.

This week we are praying for Mrs. Windisch and Mrs. Hernandez. We are also praying for all those affected by recent natural disasters.

Please pray for those who have died this week. May their souls and the souls of all the

faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

High School Info Ursuline Academy is offering a new event this year. “Meet the Administrators Coffee” is

an informative session where prospective families can meet the Administration and learn more about Ursuline Academy. The dates are October 12th and November 29th from 7:30

am -9:00am. Registration is available at www.ursulinedallas.org or through Ravenna.
