Single Stream Recycling = All recyclables listed below may be placed in the same recycle container:
Do NOT place the following items into the recycling bin:
Cell phones Plastic or Metal hangers Mirrors
Toys
Aluminum foil
Packing Material
Syringes
Shredded Paper
Plastic Bags (i.e. grocery bags, garbage bags, food storage, etc) Pizza Boxes Partially full aerosol cans Light bulbs Window glass, cookware, and drinking glasses Containers that have previously held hazardous material
(motor oil, pool chemicals, pesticides, etc). Polystyrene foam (i.e. Styrofoam, egg cartons, cups, packing peanuts, etc)
These items will not be picked up for recycling.
We cannot accept recyclables inside plastic bags. Place your recyclables directly in your bins or in brown paper bags.
Make sure you do not place your recycling bins or garbage cans in front of any mailbox.
Doing so may block access and cause interruption in mail delivery.
Pickup times may vary, depending on weather, traffic conditions, and amount of material collected throughout the City.
