ARTERIAL SUPPLY OF SCALP

• In front of Auricle, the scalp is supplied by :

Supratrochlear Supraorbital Superficial Temporal Arteries• Behind the Auricle, the scalp is

supplied from before backwards by the :

Posterior Auricular Occipital Arteries

Branch of Opthalmic Artery Branch of

• The Scalp and Temple are supplied by TEN nerves on each side.• IN FRONT OF AURICLE : Sensory Nerves -1. Supratrochlear2. Supraorbital3. Zygomaticotemporal4. Auriculotemporal Motor Nerve –1. Temporal Branch of Facial Nerve BEHIND THE AURICLE : Sensory Nerves –1. Posterior Division of Great Auricular Nerve2. Lesser Occipital Nerve3. Greater Occipital Nerve 4.
