The I Ams!My Name is Shannon Hoffman.

I am a twenty-one year old female originally from Albany, NY.

I am currently studying to become a special education teacher at Campbell University.

I am a middle child in a family of five.

I am currently engaged to a wonderful guy.

I am looking forward to and dreading going into the work field.

Albany, NY1. I technically lived in the suburbs of

Albany, known as South Colony.

2. I lived 15mins walking distance from almost anything.

1. What I could not walk to I rode the city bus too.

2. My home church and elementary school were right across the street.

3. My dad’s side of the family all lived in same community as us.

1. I lived across the street from Aunt and Uncle, around the block from my grandparents, and my cousins lived one street over.

4. I graduated from a nearby private school named Loudonville Christian School.

Family I come from a family of five. I have

two brothers named Jeremy and Jameson. My mom's name is Linda and my dad’s name is Raymond.

My mom was the oldest of a eight kids and all but one of her siblings are married. My father is the youngest and his sisters family lived across the street from our house.

My older brother, Jeremy, got married in August to Canadian and is currently residing in Canada.

My younger brother, Jameson, still lives at home and will be graduating from high school next May.

Engaged

- I got engaged a little over a year ago to another Campbell student named Joe.

- He is majoring in History and is pursuing a job at Raven Rock state park as a Park Ranger.

- He is originally from Painesville, Ohio.

- After College we plan to get jobs here in NC. Once we are settled in our jobs for a year we plan to get married.

All we are left with is piece of paper and a debt we probably wont be able pay off.

My CareerHebrew Proverb ”A child is not a vessel to be filled, but a lamp to be lit".  

As you know I am studying to become a Special Education Teacher.

I am currently doing Practicum at Buies Creek Elementary School in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing class. I a really enjoying it!

I am planning on doing my Student teaching with autistic and severely disabled students, God willing.

After I graduate I plan to stay and teach in North Carolina for the time being.

To Summarize

I have told you about my family, my career choice, my love life, my eating habits, and my hometown.

To put it all in one sentence I am a twenty-one year old northern who is in the process of graduating as teacher and settling down in NC and is eventually going to get married, sleep and good food. (In that order!)
