LSAT India is a standardized test of reading and ver-bal reasoning skills designed by the USA based Law School Admission Council (LSAC). LSAT-India 2015

scores will be accepted by participating law schools in India. LSAT India will be conducted across 16 cities in India on May 17, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for LSAT-IndiaCandidates are informed that the participating law schools have their respective eligibility criteria. All registrants who complete the test registration, pay the test fee in a timely way, and follow published test rules may sit for the LSAT India.

LSAT Registration Procedure

F Registration for the LSAT India is online and can be done by submitting the form on the LSAT-India website.

F Payment for the registration by test takers in India can be done online (via credit card only) before the notified date or through a demand draft.

F The demand draft should reach the below mentioned address on or before the notified date either by post or courier:

F The candidates should write “LSAT-India” at the bottom of the envelope

LSAT Test Scoring & Exam PatternTest scores are reported on a percentile basis, comparing each candidate’s performance to that of the others within his or her candidate group (Five-Year Integrated LL.B. Pro-gramme or Two-Year LL.M./ Three-Year LL.B. Programme).

LSAT India scores tell law schools the relative strength of the critical-thinking skills measured by the test for each candidate in comparison to the others in his or her candidate pool/group.

F Candidates shall be required to log in through a new account for filling in LSAT-India Application Form

F On completion of the registration, candidates will get an LSAT—India Registration Number. Candidates will need to mention this LSAT—India Registration Number while submitting the application forms to the participating col-leges

F After obtaining LSAT—India Registration Number, the candidate will need to download/obtain the Application Form from the participating college. The college admis-sion application forms will require candidates to mention

their LSAT—India Registration Number. Candidates will be required to mention their LSAT—India Registration Number at the required place in the Application Form of the participating colleges

F Applicants who complete the registration procedure wil have to remit an application fee, in the next process. If a candidate registers for the test and then determines that he/she is ineligible for admission to the intended law school, no test-fee will be refunded

F Candidates will be required to pay Rs. 3800 as application fee either through Online Payment or through Demand Draft/Pay Order/Banker’s Cheque

Law School Admission Test is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by LSAC.

LSAT India Eligibility Criteria may provide you infor-mation regarding various criteria required for appearing in LSAT-India including, educational qualification and age.

LSAT India Eligibility Criteria may vary from one partici-pating institution to the other. There is no common eligibility criteria accepted by all law institutions.

For LSAT India 2015 Eligibility Criteria, candidates will need to visit the website of individual law institution and check their eligibility requirements, information about the school and the courses.

LSAT-India scores shall be accepted by over 44 law institu-tions in India. Appearing for LSAT-India is mandatory for candidates seeking admission to these law schools.

Candidates will need to read the eligibility of individual law school and if the candidate is eligible to apply in the intended law school, he/she may apply.
