Insourcing – The Definition
Delegating a job to someone within a company, as opposed to someone outside of the company (outsourcing).
One reason for Insourcing to occur is if a company had previously outsourced a certain task, but was no longer satisfied with the work being done on that task, so the company could therefore insource the task and assign it to someone within the company who they believe will do a better job.

Insourcing is considered to be direct opposite to Outsourcing.
Ÿ INSOURCING was coined back at 1970's and INsourcing as a word has root
from its counterpart OUTsourcing in the English Language.
Ÿ The usage of the term decreased from 2003 to near zero in 2007.
Ÿ Insourcing had it's highest usage around 2001 and it is starting to get a

Technology Talent around the World*. The top 10 listings holds Indian cities in the
first four positions then followed by San Francisco, Seattle and Austin from the
United States.
