This book is designed to support the teaching of English in Lower Primary classes.

In each two-page unit well-known quotes and phrases are used as stimuli forthinking and writing. Units also include short descriptions of the development ofour language. These lead into discussions and meaningful exercises that willenhance students’ abilities to write effectively.

Activities explore diverse topics such as reading for information, alphabeticalorder, similes, following instruction and rhyming words. Practical exercises reinforce comprehension skills and aspects of grammar and spelling. Antonyms, synonyms, homophones, syllables and anagrams are also covered.
