Using PASCO’s Advanced Chemistry Sensor makes it easy to quantity and analyze reactions in solution.• Place pH, Conductivity and Stainless Steel Temperature probes into a Beaker with

Using PASCO’s Colorimetrer makes it easy to quantity and analyze colored solutions and the rates of reactions• Blank the colorimeter with a cuvette of distilled water• Monitor Home screen (to show all possible measurement types) • Fill the beaker with blue dye, and then fill the cuvette with the blue food dye

from the beaker.• Insert cuvette into colorimeter• Select appropriate wavelength based on Absorbance (Abs) data.• Build a page of Abs v Time and Abs digits of selected wavelength• Add 3-mL of bleach to the beaker • Fill a second cuvette with the Blue Dye w/ bleach• Insert into colorimeter and START collecting data • Create new calculated data of natural log of Absorbance and and 1/Abs• Create new graphs of lnAbs, 1/Abs and Abs v Time• Use linear fit tool find straightest line
