A-Line is a leather jacket brand.After previous ventures in fashion, I deci-

ded to create a collection evolving only around one product — leather jackets. I love everything made out of leather — shoes, pants, cushions, but I have this ever-growing love with leather jackets — especially the ones in colour; they are hard to find.

What inspires me, is that leather jackets last and become more unique and personal the longer you wear it… until it reaches true her-itage status. My approach to design is time-less handcraft — pretty much the opposite of fast-fashion. A leather jacket should make you fall in love with it each time you wear it.

I make the patchwork patterns myself and cut and sew the leather strips before handing it over to our skilled London based manufac-turer. Sourcing and production is entirely in the UK, making the process a lot less wasteful and allowing me to use off-cuts and re-suing leftovers.

All styles are open to interpretation, every-one sees a different thing in them. The wearer defines the styles and that is what I love. You wear it, you style it, you make it yours.
