Film carnival turned out to be a

massive success. The carnival was

attended by over 2700 national and

international delegates from 73

countries. The film festival

screened a line-up of 135 films

from 42 countries in Competition

and Non-Competition Categories.

ALIIFF aims to inspire, nurture

and integrate, bringing together the

different aspects of the Indian

Cinema industry facilitating

congregation of people and

nations.

ALIFF 2017 is inviting entries for

short films, student short films,

documentaries, feature films,

Indian movies in the Competition

and Children films, Environment

& sustainability films, in the non-

competition categories.

Regular deadline to submit your

movies will end on July 15th,

2017 and the Late deadline shall

close on August 15, 2017.

Promising a celebration in passionate red and

sparkling gold, the 70th Festival De Cannes

will kick off at scheduled at Palais des

Festivals et des Congrès from 17 - 28 May at this year.

With the aim of contributing towards the development

of cinema, boosting the film industry worldwide and

celebrating cinema at an international level, the

Festival has been instrumental in taking on board new

This year, the flamboyant icon of Spanish cinema and

world-famous director and screenwriter Pedro

Almodóvar will be the next President of the Jury for

the Festival International du Film de Cannes. Along

with the virtuoso story teller, Italian

actress Monica Bellucci shall host

the Opening and Closing ceremonies

of the festival.

part of the Festival. Providing an
