The rapid beating of wings and 80Hz SPONSORS flickering of the lamp combine to capture a strobe As the Festival marks 10 years, we look back at the rich history central australia effect tracing their flight patterns. Each moth is reflected of the event as it has grown and embrace the momentum to Government Partners: multiple times within the fraction-of-a-second exposure

While 10 years may seem insignificant to the land and history of this place, the festival has lifetimes of stories woven into it. Stories that you are a part of….or might be this year? The past and future have conspired to give us a present

carry us forward through the next 10 years and beyond. It is a great milestone for a festival to acknowledge and celebrate. This years theme of the past informing the future brings with it the best of our wonderful desert culture. We are blessed to have access to the oldest living culture with all of its depth, beauty and wonder. This year’s festival will be our biggest yet and positions us as a key element of the local calendar as well as gaining profile on the national event circuit. What you experience in this festival would not be possible without the extraordinary
