L7-Rules of Noon saakin & Tanween

a) Ikhfa� Whenever after noon sakin or tanween an Ikhfa letter appears we

have to hide the noon saakin or Tanween and bring the shadow of the Ikhfa letter

b) Izhar� Whenever after noon sakin or tanween a letter of halqiya appears we

have to say it clearly

c) Qalb (Iqlaab)� … only the letter Ba appear we have to change it to meem and

pronounce it with ghunna

d) Idghaam� Letter from yarmallon appear … change the noon sakin to same letter

and merge together

� Idghaam-e-kamil – the letter from laam or raa … say without ghunna

� Idghaam-e-Naaqis – the letter from yamoon … say with ghunna
