STATISTICS

National Standards states Emergency Calls Should be answered within 10 seconds 90% of the time and within 20 seconds 95% of the time. Our 911 calls are answered in under 7 seconds 90% of the time and 10% of the time in more than 7 seconds.

Use Only if:- You are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability,

(Not in place of relay service)- It is not safe for you to call 9-1-1- Medical emergency renders you unable to speak- Unable to make an outgoing call due to lack of signal

Call Prioritization

When calls are entered, they are given a priority rating (Emergency, Immediate, Prompt, Delay, and TRU)

Calls are dispatched based first on priority rating, officers available, and last on call pending time. If there are no officers in service, a call will wait. Only for an Emergency or significant Immediate call will officers be requested to break from their current calls for response.

Emergency and Immediate calls have higher priority, regardless of wait time on Prompt and Delay calls.
