Following are the details of di�erent light status on Alcatel GPON ONT

Light Details

EQPT Equipment light shows the status of electric power, when ONT is turned on the light turns on and its status is green stable. If light is off this will indicate no electrical power; in this case please check the power availability to ONT.

PON PON light will be green stable otherwise contact NAYAtel Support MGMT Management light should be green stable state else contact NAYAtel Support DATA Data light will be in blinking state when customer is browsing, if it’s OFF then

then the Ethernet cable is unplugged or router is OFF. VOICE Green stable shows that POTs is configured and off means that POTS is not

configured. If customer is using POTS the light will blink. RF-TV RF-TV light will be in green stable state else contact NAYAtel Support

ONT’s back side is shown below, note the Ethernet, POTS & RF-TV services’ Ports on back of it.

The port numbering is from right to left. The port adjacent to power port is �rst port (see red

circle).

Precautionary Measures

1 – Never remove the power cable from the ONT as this can damage the ONT

2 – Never reset ONT by pressing reset button as this will remove all the con�gurations of the ONT

3 – Do not cover the ONT as this blocks the ventilation for the ONT circuitry

4 – Only connect the ONT with the UPS provided by Nayatel as other UPS can damage the ONT

5 – Donot change the ONT location as it may damage the optical �ber cable. Please contact NAYAtel Support in this regard

Serial number of ONT is a unique number. No two ONTs can have same serial. Customer’s User ID

can also be identi�ed by this serial number. Serial number is pasted on either the front side or the

back side of ONT.
