SENIOR BIOGRAPHIES

Lilionna Alves (Fashion Design) is from Allentown, PA. During her time at Albright she has been a member of many different organizations and clubs, and has recently interned with the Fashion Department and Albright's Center for the Arts. She plans to showcase her skills after graduation while pursuing a career in fashion design.

Gabrielle Anello (Fashion Merchandising) is from Phoenixville, PA. During her time at Albright she has volunteered at BenchWarmers Coffee and Donuts, doing their visual merchandising. She has also completed an internship with Boscov’s. Her current career goal is to obtain a position as a buyer.

Kaitlyn Bangert (Fashion Merchandising & Business Administration) is from Harrisburg, PA. During her time at Albright, she was a member and service chair of Alpha Phi Omega, worked on an ACRE on medical tourism, and participated in Alternative Spring Break. She also interned at Suits to Careers which helped her realize she could turn her passion for helping others into a career. After graduation she will attended West Chester University for her Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Management. In the future, she plans to use her fashion background to pursue research in textiles that will aid the healthcare industry. She would like to thank Albright for a unique education that allows students to take classes outside of their major and explore all their interests.

Lauren Bell (Fashion Merchandising & International Business) is a senior from Reading, PA. During her time at Albright, she completed an ACRE with faculty mentor, Jayanthi Rajan, titled “Green is the New Black: Sustainability and the Next Generation of Fashion.” Lauren recently presented this research at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research in Oklahoma City. As a member of the Dearden Honor Society, she completed the Dearden Leadership Academy’s mentoring program. She will also be inducted into the Society of Jacob Albright Scholars. Lauren has accepted a position at WebpageFX and will begin her employment after graduation.

Emily Clark (Fashion Merchandising & Business Marketing) is from Hamilton, NJ. She interned at Rochelle Sara Swimwear Company, which gave her the opportunity to experience fashion in the streets of New York City. On campus, she is a part of Sigma Kappa Sorority and Club Vogue. She is currently exploring her future career options, while having high hopes of moving to the city. She has enjoyed each and every experience at Albright, and cannot wait to show the fashion industry all that she has to offer.

Olivia Connor (Fashion Design) is from Baltimore, MD. During her time at Albright College, she has developed a strong understanding of garment design and construction. She is grateful to the professors in the fashion department who have given her guidance from freshman year until now. After graduation, Olivia plans to return to Maryland to launch her design brand, Nesbit Cherish, and build clientele.

Khala Corley (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Fort Washington, MD. During her time at Albright, she studied fashion in multiple countries. She studied abroad in Cape Coast, Ghana and Florence, Italy. Khala has a strong interest in fashion illustration and digital printing. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in apparel construction and magazine editing.

Sarah Cotton (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Southampton, PA. During her time here at Albright College she have been a member of Alpha Delta Pi for three-and-a-half years in which she held an executive position as Director of Social Enrichment for one year. During her college career she had the opportunity to intern for LiliBea’s, which is a small lingerie boutique in West Reading. Interning there has given her experiences that she hopes to apply to her future employment. Albright College has given her the opportunity to express her creativity as well as given her the knowledge to succeed in the fashion industry. After graduation she hopes to pursue a career in visual merchandising or styling.

Michaela Crosson (Fashion Merchandising) is from Mechanicsburg, PA. During her time at Albright she was on the cheerleading team freshman and sophomore year. She was a member of multiple clubs and a part of the organization Sigma Kappa. After graduation, Michaela plans on moving to Florida and pursuing a career in visual merchandising.

Samantha Crowley (Fashion Merchandising) also studied French as a minor. She is the president of the Albright College Dance Team, a member of Pi Delta Phi, and a sister of Sigma Kappa Sorority. During her years at Albright, she completed a graphic design internship at Sorrelli Jewelry in Kutztown, where she helped develop marketing materials for several jewelry collections. After graduation, she plans to move to Phoenix, Arizona to pursue a career in either marketing or graphic design.

Lauren Dawson (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Reading, PA, and is a graduate of Reading High School. She has had garments modeled and showcased multiple times for the Albright Annual Fashion showcase. She is currently a social media/web design intern at EMJ Pilates in West Reading. After college, she plans on pursuing e-commerce, marketing and social media planning and design.

Abryyana De Vine (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Clementon, NJ. Her current accomplishment was interning at Claire's Fashion Bridal Boutique in Wilmington, DE, to which she will be returning as a full-time employee after graduation. Look out for her future endeavors; she's going to have her hands in everything creative from photography, to blogs and more! Signing out Albright...

Devan Galan (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Reading, PA. As a first generation college student in her family, she came to Albright to further her knowledge and explore her creative and analytical capabilities. During her time here, she maintained an honorable GPA while working full-time and being a full-time college student. She maintained a positive outlook and always incorporated ethical and sustainable practices into her projects. During her junior year, she interned at From the Heart Consignment Shop in Sinking Spring and gained insight on running a local business, as well as styled models for the Bridge of Hope Fundraiser Fashion Show. Following graduation, she will explore fashion career opportunities in Europe and hopes to expand her local skincare brand she created from the ground up, during her senior seminar.

Carly Hollinger (Fashion Merchandising) is from Elkton, MD. During her time at Albright she played on the Albright Field Hockey Team, where she was a captain for two-and-a-half years. Her internship at the Boscov’s Photo Studio sparked her interest in styling models behind the scenes. While at Albright she studied abroad in London, Paris, Florence, and Rome, where she met with designers and studied current fashion trends. Her future goal is to move to New York City and explore jobs in either buying or styling.

Kaniya Howard (Fashion Design) is from Philadelphia, PA. She has a strong passion for crocheting and currently has her own personal business called NiyaCrochet where she produces and sells various crocheted garments and items. She also participated in four fashion shows, three being at Albright and one at Millersville University, showcasing her crocheted garments. Her current job search includes designing, styling, and art and craft. She enjoyed her last four years at Albright College, specifically taking her classes in the fashion department.

Lindsey Jones (Costume Design) is a senior from Carlisle, PA. She transferred in from HACC, where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts and Art History. She has worked on Albright’s Domino Player productions for the past three years. She has also worked at Harrisburg Theatre, The Utah Shakespeare Festival, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, where she developed a love of costuming for dance. During the summer, she completed an ACRE project on building a classical Balanchine Tutu, which she has continued to incorporate into her Senior Seminar and Senior Honors Thesis projects this year. She is currently the Costume Designer for Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and has built costumes for their “Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “June Series” productions this year. She will continue working for them after graduation. She also plans to complete her MFA in Costume Design and Technology at Alabama University.

Amanda Long (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Easton, PA. During her time at Albright, she was a member of the Field Hockey Team, SAC, and The National Society of Leadership and Success. Last summer, she was an intern for Black House Academy located in Bethlehem, PA. She learned the ins and outs of starting your own brand, and she got to explore menswear. After graduation, Amanda plans on pursuing a career as a designer or a buyer.

Tasha Major (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Philadelphia, PA. She has a passion for designing clothes, shoes, and accessories. She loves to learn about Adobe programs, so she can expand her skills in CAD. During her time at Albright she was able to expand her knowledge outside of the class and use it as inspiration. While attending school at Albright she also worked at the school’s dining locations. She enjoyed all four years of being at Albright and building relationships with her professors as well as students.

CarLee Moyer (Fashion Merchandising & Arts Administration) is from Middleville, NY. During her time at Albright, she was a member of multiple clubs and organizations. She has also been interning with Albright's Center for the Arts during her senior year. Her internship has allowed her to assist in the planning of the Annual Fashion Showcase, as well as other CFA events throughout the school year. After graduation, CarLee plans on pursuing a career in event planning.

Shannon Nease (Fashion Design & Art) is from Dillsburg, PA. During her time at Albright, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi and Club Vogue. This year She has interned for Albright College’s Center of the Arts as co-producer of the 2018 Annual Fashion Showcase. Her interests in art and fashion design led her to explore digital printing and surface design. After graduation, Shannon plans on becoming a surface designer and work on launching her own swimwear company.

Emily Saxon (Fashion Merchandising & International Business) is from Gilbertsville, PA. She played four years for Albright’s Women’s Soccer Team for which she is a senior captain. She also is an active member of Dearden Honor Society. She was a mentor at the Dearden

Leadership Academy this past November, which provides leadership training for 30 Reading High School students over the course of three days. She especially enjoyed her Spring 2017 semester abroad in London at the University of Westminster studying visual merchandising and international business. She wants to pursue a career in buying, merchandising, or global operations for a large fashion corporation.

Unique Schulters (Fashion Merchandising) is from Roselle, NJ. During her time at Albright she has participated in the Club Vogue fashion show every year, joined Xion Dance and Step Team, and became a tutor for the Academic Learning Center. After graduation she wants to work as a buyer or merchandiser for a company headquartered in New York or New Jersey and eventually open her own boutique. To prepare, she has participated in two internships including: From the Heart Consignment Shop and Ariela & Associates. She appreciates everything she has learned during her time here and can't wait for life after Albright.

Ashley Sheppard (Fashion Merchandising) is from Columbus, NJ. Her passion for fashion and art are what brought her to Albright in 2014. During her time here she has completed an internship with the local Wyomissing Dressbarn, where she continues working. After graduation, she plans to pursue her fashion career in visual merchandising, styling, or buying.

Denise Taveras (Fashion Merchandising & International Business) will be graduating in August 2018. Upon graduation, she will start her professional career with Allegiant Connections as a marketing manager. All of her experiences at Albright have given her the knowledge and confidence to take control of her future and the opportunities that are available.

Tiana Van Leuven (Fashion Design & Merchandising) is from Bushkill, PA. During her time at Albright College, Tiana managed to balance a consistent work life while pursuing her dream of learning as much as possible about the fashion industry and maintaining Honor Program requirements. She interned at a local bridal salon where she gained insight on the trials of owning a boutique and working one-on-one with clientele. After graduation, She will continue working as a jewelry merchandiser while exploring design positions and simultaneously building her brand.

Caroline Winterle (Fashion Merchandising) is from Havertown, PA. Caroline interned her junior year at Boscov’s Corporation in their Photography Studio as an Assistant Stylist. After her internship she was offered work as a Freelance Stylist for Boscov’s. After graduation she plans on pursuing a career in fashion styling.
