ALARM,ABORT AND ERROR CODE INFORMATION

Abort and Alarms have an A prefix. All error codes have an E prefix. The codes for 88 series

machines are broken down by controllers as follows:

SPN APOST CXCM ENGINE

Abort A-025 A-049 A-000 A-024 None

Alarm A-100 A-199 A-200 A-299 None

Error E128-183 E000-127 E184-255

Alarms and Abort codes only have one number such as A 000.

Error codes are written in two parts separated by a decimal point.

Example: E 7.4

7 = Area of concert, this is the Specific Product Numerator (SPN) number.4 = Type of failure, this is the Failure Mode Indicator (FMI) number

The main FMI numbers will be

3 The circuit is being supplied a voltage higher then the controllers regulator

(shorted to a high side voltage)

4 The circuit is being grounded and the voltage is below 0.5V (shorted to a low

side)

5 The supply voltage is at the controllers regulated voltage level (open circuit)
