ALARMNET NETWORK
Signals are transmitted from theprotected premise upon an alarmcondition.
Our 7845GSM and 7845i-GSM radiocommunicators can send the signalover the GPRS Network.
If GPRS is unavailable, the signal canbe transmitted via the SMS network.
The Internet is always the primary path ofcommunication to send alarm signals from the 7845i-GSM to AlarmNet.
If the Internet is unavailable, the 7845i-GSMautomatically attempts to send the signal over the GPRS network. During this time, the systemwill continuously try to re-establish the connectionwith the Internet for the next signal.

AlarmNet NetworkControl Center
AlarmNet processes signals from powerfulservers in multiple locations equipped with24/7 infrastructure support.
The AlarmNet network consists of redundanthardware servers, hot back-up databasesand generators with battery back-up at alllocations to ensure continuity of service.
Signals from AlarmNet are transmittedto the central station’s receivers usingmultiple communications pathsconsisting of the Internet, radio network or toll-free POTS service.
The carrier identifies the GPRSor SMS signal as a Honeywell
signal and manages thisseparately from all other signals
on their network, to ensure that the signal is delivered
to AlarmNet.
Our GSM partners provide our dedicated wireless network. Our family of
products employs flexible GSM technology. For the 7845GSM, dual-path
GSM communication utilizes GPRS and automatically switches to SMS if
GPRS is unavailable. With the 7845i-GSM, Honeywell adds ground-
breaking Internet connectivity along with GPRS and SMS technology to
provide triple-path communication. In this case, the Internet is used as
the primary path, with GSM technology as a backup.
