Introduct ion: Allah will give you at the best time. We might think that Allah can give you whenever you want but for everything there is preparation so Allah knows that you are not prepared for what you are asking. Allah will prepare you and the situation around you so that it becomes a bridge to paradise. For e.g. if you ask for something and you don’t get so you remain patient so Allah will reward you in abundance for patience. This will make you more grateful. Allah is not controlling the world not based on what people want but according to His Hikmah. There are people who didn’t learn these things with knowledge but the person reaches a golden age when a person reaches that age then you understand all of this. This is the age of 40 that is the best age and you will learn these things in your life.

We will see why this age is so important and how is this mentioned in Quran. Your parents: Allah invited us to be the best with your parents and be grateful to Allah. After the rights of Allah there are rights of parents. Ahsaan is that you are more than best with your parents. Some people are good to their friends but bad with parents. If you carry your parents and make them do Tawaf even this is not enough so imagine if your voice is higher than them. If they speak slowly then speak slowly if they walk slowly so walk with them slowly. Some children think that we know more than our parents. There is no good in a person who is not good to his or her parents. People realize this at the golden age; this is because then you can see your own children. You have to respect your parents a lot and you can’t joke with them like you joke with friends. Allah mentions that the mother has more rights because she carried you and gave you birth with difficulty. Then she will feed you and all of this will take 30 months i.e. two and a half years. There are two opinions on these 30 months:

• This includes the time of pregnancy and the feeding time so according to Quran the minimum time for pregnancy is 6 months and this is the miracle of Quran.

• Another opinion is that pregnancy is 9 months and the feeding time is reduced.

One Sahaba came to the Prophet and asked him that I carried my mother and made her do Tawaf around the kaaba so did I fulfill her rights. Prophet replied you didn’t even gave back for one labor contraction pain so you didn’t fulfill her rights. For a mother no matter what you do, you can never fulfill her rights. The golden age: Then Allah mentions that the person reaches the age of 40 at this age your emotions are settled and you are mature. Your understanding will be better and you will have a balanced personality. The dua that these people make at this age shows that they are mature. This person understands that Allah is Al Wahaab and he knows the gifts of Allah. He will notice how many gifts Allah has blessed him, his parents and his children with. The sign of maturity is that you appreciate the gifts you have. Sometimes we see someone young who appreciates the gifts and we think that this is so mature. Sometimes we see some scholars who are very mature. There was a sahabi who used to go for battles at the age of 16. The Dua:

1) Shukar: They call Allah by His name Rabb because they know He is the nurturer. They know for all the challenges they are facing only Allah can help them in these situations. Allah will teach you through situations and you will learn a lot and make you patient. Your mind will be upgraded and you will become mature. The nurturing of Allah is through two ways; one through the easy way that you open Quran and you learn all the lessons from this. The second way is the difficult way that Allah will make you learn through situations. When you are learning then Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for you and you will learn the easy way. This dua we can learn through knowledge or through situations, which is very difficult way. This person feels so overwhelmed with the gifts of Allah. The person asks Oh Allah guide me to the best way to thank you. Thanking Allah is a big task in their life. If Allah is giving you and you don’t realize then you are acting immature but when you realize that Allah has given you so much so you will say I don’t know Ya Allah what is the best way to thank you. The blessings are both of this world and the Here after. This person will look at all perspectives and is not narrow-minded. If you think about the blessings Allah has blessed you with then you will not be able to count. Then the person mentions parents because if Allah blessed your parents then in fact you are blessed. If your parents have health, wealth and Deen so actually you are also blessed. These people feel helpless in front of Allah and they say we don’t even know how to thank you. We make dua after Salah

that make me thankful for the blessings you gave me. Prophet Muhammad (Sallelaho alihi wasslaam) said that the rich grateful person is better than a poor patient person. This is because the poor person doesn’t have many options but the rich person has many options. Allah gave us so many blessings but we see only negative. Be like a bee and not like a fly. A bee looks at the flower that is positivity and it produces honey. The fly looks at the garbage and doesn’t give anything beneficial.

2) Good deeds: They ask Allah that make me do good deeds. The salihan is the reformed good deeds that will please Allah and He will love it. These deeds will be free from doubts and Riyaa and any shortcomings. This shows how helpless we are in all regards because we can’t even rely on ourselves to do good deeds. We can’t perform good deeds for our satisfaction we need to do good deeds only to please Allah. We don’t want to do good deeds just to make ourselves happy.

3) Dua for offspring They ask Allah for reforming not only their children but all the offspring till the day of judgment. Our children have faults and you are asking Allah to take care of them and I don’t have to worry about them. Who said that you are the one who is taking care of the children? Only Allah can nurture everyone. Allah is the creator and Rabb you need to rely on Him. You should not worry about the future of the children. Actually you are asking this Dua for yourself because you are making sure that your offspring is righteous so that it becomes sadaqah e jariah and you will benefit. Prophet said that when the son of adam dies all the deeds finish except three; ongoing charity, knowledge that you spread and righteous children. Our job is to make duas and the rest Allah will do. We should not worry about our children and their upbringing.

4) Repent You make the general Dua that I am repenting from all the sins and I am one of the Muslimeen. This shows the stability of this personality.
