First of all I’d like to say thank you for ev-erything each of you have done this year!

To our Potentate, Carl Barns, a special thanks for believing in your Divan team, and letting us make changes and try new ideas which helped us to in-crease our membership. Our Mem-bership Team Thanks for all the hard

work. What a great year to go Gold in membership for the first time in 20 years!

It was an honor to welcome and meet over 150 new Nobles and their Ladies.

Also I’d like to thanks to Lady Tracy, Lady Kim and Lady Joyce for putting the Ladies program together you did a great job, and with that in the rearview mirror it’s time to start a new year. We still need your support to find new Nobles, ask a friend, go to your Blue Lodge and be involved. I’d like to give 100% of my support to the new Potentate Mike VanSant and welcome our new Oriental Guide, Noble Randy Wil-liams and Lady Beth to the line. I will assure you we will work hard to represent you all this year. And again thanks for your support. I hope everyone had a blessed Holiday Season and a Happy New Year.

Last year sure went by fast. I can’t believe its 2015 already. Thank you Nobles and Ladies

for all your support the past two years and thanks for the confidence you placed in me to be your 2015 Asst. Rabban. Congratula-tions to our newly elected Oriental Guide Randy Williams and all the 2015 Divan members for being elected to your new

position. Ill. Sir Mike VanSant we look for-ward to your leadership this year and pledge

our support to you and Al Menah Shrine. December, as usual, was a very busy month and

a lot of fun too. All the parades and Christmas Parties were outstanding. Thanks to the Ladies and Nobles that made these events happen. We had another Ceremonial on New Year’s Eve and have several more new Nobles at Al Menah. This year we will be counting on every Noble and their Lady to help us in our efforts to Recruit, Restore and Retain our membership. For the first time in decades we had a positive gain in membership last year and we expect to have the same if not better results this year and beyond. I would like to thank our Membership Committee and our 2014 Membership Chairman Mike Reeves for his leadership and guidance. Remember it takes everyone working together to achieve our goals. All it takes is Plus One from last year, but that means we have to recruit 150 plus candidates and restore 50 plus suspended Nobles. We know how to do it. Be active in your Blue Lodge and tell “The Shrine Story” to as many brothers as you can. It is really very simple just “ASK A MASTER MASON TO BE A SHRINER”.

The year 2014 has come to an end, but what a great year it was at Al Menah. First of

all, I would like to thank the nobility for allowing me to serve as Orien-tal Guide, and I am looking forward to serving as your High Priest and Prophet! Congrats goes out to Randy Williams on winning the election for

Oriental Guide. I personally look for-ward to working with Randy and Beth the

next four years, and I would like to thank Kris Fisher for running and everything he does for Al Menah Temple! In closing, thank you Carl Barnes and your Lady Joyce for a great year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Order of the Sword of Bunker HillThe Sword of Bunker Hill Order will be conferred at the Al Menah Temple on Friday evening, January 16, 2015. Our dinner will begin at 6:00 pm and the conferral at 7:00 pm. All nobles are invited to attend and if not members , they are eligible to become members that evening. Only masons in good standing are eligible for membership in this order. The cost is $25.00 for life-time membership with no annual dues. Among the many distinguished guests at this conferral will be Noble Mike Vansant and Past Grand Master of Free and Accepted Masons of Tennessee, Brother KI Wright who will display our colors prior to the initiation. taking  nominations  quarterly.  This  round,  your  nominations  will  be  considered  for  the  months  of  February,  March  and  April  2015.  To  recognize  these  individuals  and  their  extraordinary  contributions,  each  monthly  winner’s  personal  profile  will  be  highlighted  on  Shriners  Village,  the  Shriners  International  website  and  more.  In  addition,  the  winner  will  receive  a  signed  plaque  from  the  Imperial  Potentate  and  a  commemorative  pin.
